How to Repurpose Water Saved from The Shower

How to Repurpose Water Saved from The Shower

Here are our top tips for re-using the water saved straight from the shower that is stored in your SEVAS.

How to Repurpose Water Saved from The Shower

6 Smart Ways to Reuse the Water SEVAS Saves

Once you’ve saved 5 litres of clean water from your shower warm-up, what do you do with it?

Here are five simple, sustainable ways to put that water to good use:

1. Water Your Plants
Indoor or outdoor - your garden will thrive on this daily hydration boost.  The water collected is before you start showering with any product so this water will not contaminate your plants.  Simply add the free watering can spout you received with your SEVAS water catcher, and you are good to go.

2. Rinse Your Laundry
Use it for soaking clothes or doing a pre-rinse in the sink or bucket.

3. Clean Floors or Surfaces
Perfect for mopping or cleaning windows, especially with natural eco friendly cleaning products.

4. Top Up the Toilet Cistern
Instead of flushing clean water, reuse what SEVAS has saved.  This is especially good for those living on water tank systems.

6. Wash your Pets and re-fill water bowls
Safe for pets, this water can top up water bowls and a SEVAS is the perfect vessel for cleaning our fury friends, with or without the handy watering spout attachment.

6. Wash the Vehicles
Cars, bikes, scooters - all need a wash at some point!  Even better if you can use an eco soap and wash them over the grass so your lawn can soak up the water.
